Sandler 500th member of the Bavarian Family Pact
On February 20th 2018, Emilia Müller, Bavarian Secretary of State for Labour and Social Affairs, welcomed Sandler AG as the 500th member of the Bavarian Family Pact. But what does this entail?
The Bavarian Family Pact is a joint initiative of the Bavarian State Government and the central associations of the Bavarian economy, which advocate family-friendly employment conditions and human resources policies. To continually improve the reconcilability of work and family life in Bavaria and to provide impulses to both enterprises as well as society, this powerful partnership was formed.
Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Sandler AG joined the Family Pact as well. Our team of longstanding, experienced staff members and young professionals is shaping Sandler through motivation and dedication. This was the basis for Sandler becoming one of the largest nonwovens manufacturers worldwide. Bärbl Sandler, Chief Human Resources Officer, expressed the importance of cooperation in the Family Pact: “It is through our employees, their dedication, competence and new ideas that the company is advancing. Therefore, we sustainably invest in the well-being and satisfaction of our team. Through the continuous expansion of family-friendly structures we seek to ensure optimum reconcilability of family and work-life.”
Furthering this goal, flexible working time models, individual part-time positions as well as vacation programmes and support to activities of health promotion are already in place.
