Nonwovens add a little colour to everyday school life

On October 6th, the pupils of Jean Paul primary school in Schwarzenbach were given a break from classes on occasion of the celebratory inauguration of the school’s newly furbished multi-purpose room. The room had been equipped with nonwoven acoustic components that now bring quietness and a little colour to everyday school life.

Pupils, teachers, Mayor Hans-Peter Baumann as well as the members of the city council and the parents‘ council welcomed Bärbl Sandler, Vice President of Human Resources/Organisation at Sandler AG, as well as Sebastian Bauer and Sandra Beganovic from the Sales department to thank them for the company’s sponsorship.

Suspended ceilings shaped like clouds and wall panels printed in the school colours are more than colourful eye-catchers. The acoustically efficient nonwovens absorb sound, providing a quiet atmosphere and optimal conversational acoustics even amidst the most vivacious frolic—individual interior design adding comfort to the school room.

Jean Paul primary school third graders thanked the Sandler representatives with a musical performance and subsequently, all pupils struck up the official school song together.

Bärbl Sandler thanked the attendees for this very warm reception and wished pupils and teachers many joyful moments in the new room: „Our nonwovens will surely help optimise acoustics in this room and hopefully, this all-purpose room will now be used even more frequently for most diverse events and activities.“
