Thank you - Sandler celebrates company anniversaries 2017

On December 1, Sandler AG’s management team honoured more than 60 staff members for their longstanding affiliation to the company, successfully completed apprenticeships and further training courses, as well as their outstanding participation in the employee suggestion system.

On occasion of this year’s celebration, Dr. Christian Heinrich Sandler welcomed not only the jubilarians, but also the members of the Supervisory Board, the management team, as well as Sandler retirees, who are still a part of the family. The CEO stressed that 2017 was another successful year for Sandler and thanked his staff for their motivation and commitment. „Proactively shaping the future is and always was a vital part of our philosophy“, said Dr. Sandler and went on to discuss advancing digitalization and the challenges it presents.

Together with the attendees, he reflected on the highlights of the year that was—both in Schwarzenbach, and at the new nonwovens plant in Perry, Georgia, USA, which was formally inaugurated in October. On occasion of the celebration, „Team Perry“ had prepared a photo presentation, symbolically thanking their German colleagues for the continued support.

Subsequently, Dr. Sandler gave a fond farewell to employees going into retirement and honoured staff members, who have been a part of the Sandler team for 45, 40, or 35 years.

Board Members Wolfgang Höflich and Dr. Ulrich Hornfeck, as well as Karsten Luderer, Chief Technical Officer, and Jürgen Büsker, Chief Financial Officer, commended staff members on 30, 25, 20, 15 or 10 years working for the company.

Bärbl Sandler, Chief Human Resources Officer, congratulated young professionals, who had completed their apprenticeship in 2017 and staff members, who successfully completed further trainings. Finally, Wolfgang Höflich honoured employees, who had been particularly invested in the employee suggestion system this year. Management team, staff members and guests let the celebration come to an end enjoying a festive meal and interesting conversations.
